Detours Route 2 Detour-Cancelled The detour on Route 2 at Arcadian Ave. and Caroline St. has been cancelled. Route 2 is operating on its scheduled route. Additional Detour on Route 6 & 5/6 Due to the road closure on St. Paul Ave. from Harris Highland Dr. to MacArthur Rd., Route 6 & 5/6 will be on the following detour effective August 2nd: Route 6 & 5/6 will not operate on Kensington Dr. from Manor Dr. to St. Paul Ave., on St. Paul Ave. from Kensington Dr. to MacArthur Rd., and MacArthur Rd. from St. Paul Ave. to Grandview Blvd. This new detour will be in addition to the current detours on Route 6 and 5/6 in the downtown area, Sunset Dr. and St. Paul Ave. area and West High School until further notice.
Detour on Route 8
Revised July 27th Due to changes in road construction at Summit Ave. and Grandview Blvd., Route 8 will be on the following revised detour effective July 27th: Route 8 Westbound AM Trips (From Downtown Transit Center to UW-Waukesha): Route 8 will not operate on Summit Ave. from Orchard Ave. to Greenmeadow Dr. Route 8 Eastbound AM Trips (From UW-Waukesha to Downtown Transit Center): Route 8 will not operate on Grandview Blvd. from Easy St. to Summit Ave. and Summit Ave. from Grandview Blvd. to N. Moreland Blvd. Route 8 Westbound PM Trips (From Downtown Transit Center to UW-Waukesha): Route 8 will not operate on Summit Ave. from N. Moreland Blvd. to Grandview Blvd and Grandview Blvd. from Summit Ave. to Easy St. Route 8 Eastbound PM Trips (From UW-Waukesha to Downtown Transit Center): Route 8 will not operate on Summit Ave. from Greenmeadow Dr. to Orchard Ave.
Route 5/6 Detour
Effective Monday, June 28th Due to road construction on St. Paul Ave. and Sunset Drive, Route 5/6 will be on the following detour starting Monday, June 28th. Southbound (From the Transit Center to Shoppes at Fox River) - will operate as scheduled to the Shoppes at Fox River. Route 5/6 will terminate and layover at the Shoppes at Fox River. Northbound (From Shoppes at Fox River to the Transit Center) - Route 5/6 will operate from the Shoppes at Fox River to School and Prairie via scheduled routing, then north on Prairie Ave. crossing Sunset Dr. and continue on Prairie Ave. to College Ave., then east on College Ave. resuming the scheduled route.
On the Northbound trip, Route 5/6 will not serve Sunset Dr., the Shoppes at Fox River, St. Paul Ave., Grandview Blvd., MacArthur Road, Kensington Dr., Cambridge Ave., S. Moreland Blvd, Motor Ave., Washington Ave, and Prairie Ave. north of College Ave.
Route 5/6 is a combination of Waukesha Metro Routes 5 and 6, and operates weekday evenings after 6:30 pm and all day Saturdays and Sundays.
Route 5 & 6 Detour
Effective Wednesday, June 23rd Due to road construction on St. Paul Ave. and Sunset Drive, Route 5 & 6 will be on the following detours starting Wednesday, June 23rd. Route 5 Route 5 will not operate to Fox Run, Badger Drive or on Sunset Drive west of the Shoppes at Fox River. Route 5 will layover at the Shoppes at Fox River. Passengers wishing to go to Fox Run or Badger Drive will need to use Route 6. Route 6 Route 6 will not operate to the Shoppes at Fox River, West High School or on Sunset Drive east of St. Paul Ave. Below are details for the new routing for Route 6. Southbound (Leaving the Transit Center to Badger Drive) -Route 6 will operate on its scheduled route to Fox Run and then travel to Badger Drive. Route 6 will terminate and layover at Badger Drive. Northbound (Leaving Badger Drive to the Transit Center) Route 6 will operate on Badger Drive to Sunset Drive, east on Sunset Drive to St. Paul Ave., then north on St. Paul Ave. to Grandview Blvd. and will resume its scheduled routing once on Grandview Blvd. Route 6 will not serve Fox Run when operating northbound. Passengers wishing to go to the Shoppes at Fox River will need to use Route 5. Route 4 Detour

Effective April 5thDue to utility and road construction, Route 3, 4, 5 and 5/6 is on detour in the downtown area. This detour will be in effect for several months. The detoured service is listed below. Route 3 and 4 Southbound (From the Transit Center to K-Mart/West Ave. and Sentinel Dr.) will be out of service on the following streets: Barstow St. between South St. and Wisconsin Ave. and Wisconsin Ave. between Barstow St. and East Ave. The remaining portions of these routes will operate as scheduled. Route 5 and 5/6 Southbound (From the Transit Center to Badger Dr./School Dr. and Prairie Ave.) will be out of service on the following streets: Barstow St. between St. Paul Ave. and Wisconsin Ave., Wisconsin Ave. between Barstow St. and West Ave. The remaining portions of these routes will operate as scheduled.
