Downtown Transit Center

 

Waukesha Metro Transit operates from the Downtown Transit Center, located at 212 E. St. Paul Ave.
It has several passenger amenities such as an indoor waiting area, a Customer Service Window, and public restrooms. In addition, each bus route has its own bus bay making it easier for you to find the route you want. The bus route will arrive and departure from its assigned bay each trip. The Lobby Hours for the Transit Center are:
Monday-Friday 5:30 am to 9:30 pm
Saturday 8:15 am to 10:15 pm
Sunday 9:15 am to 7:15 pm

 

Each bus bay also has an electronic signs that display when the next bus will arrive in real time. Routes 1-9, 15 & 16; as well as the Wisconsin Coach Lines Route 901 operate from the Downtown Transit Center. Customer Service

All in person customer activities with Waukesha Metro Transit occur at the Customer Service Window at the Transit Center. These activities include:

  • Obtaining or renewing a Reduced Fare or Metrolift ID
  • Lost and Found
  • Obtaining information about Metro's services in person
  • Applying for employment with Metro
  • Purchasing passes and tickets (Cash & Checks only.  Credit & Debit Cards are not accepted.)

The hours for the Customer Service Window will be 8 am - 5 pm Monday - Friday. 

 

Parking Information
