Reservations
Scheduling
a trip on the Metrolift bus is only a phone call away.
Just call the Metrolift line at (262) 524-3635. Reservations
are taken between the hours of 8 a.m. and 6 p.m. seven days
a week. Due to limited staff, you will likely be making
your reservation on the Metrolift voice mail system.
When
on the voice mail system, please make sure you provide all
of the following information:
1.
Your name and telephone number (and
name of the rider, if he/she is not you).
2. The day and date you wish to ride.
3. Where you want to be picked up and where you want to go.
4. The time you want to go and the
time you need to be there.
5. Where you want to be picked up and where you want to go
for your return trip.
6. The time you want to return and the time you need to return.
7. When applicable, indicate that a PCA
and/or guest will accompany you on the trip.
Sometimes Metrolift cannot transport you exactly
when you want to go, but if you have a specific appointment
Metrolift will make sure you arrive on time.
If there is a problem with your reservation request,
Metrolift staff will contact you by 6:30 p.m. on the day you
made the reservation to resolve the problem. If Metrolift
does not contact you, assume your trip is reserved.
You may schedule trips between one (1) and fourteen
(14) days in advance.
Subscription Service
Metrolift offers subscription
service, on a limited basis, to its riders. If a rider
has a trip that is made to the same place at the same time
every day or every week, subscription service allows that
trip to be reserved once. The trip will then be scheduled
automatically and will not have to be reserved every day or
every week.
Metrolift subscription
service is offered for trips taken between the hours of 6
a.m. and 9 a.m., and 2 p.m. and 5 p.m. It can be reserved
on a first-come first serve basis for six (6) months at a
time. Flyers will be distributed to let riders know
when to sign up for subscription service.
