New Berlin Trail West Extension to Carroll University
Project Update: June 15, 2018
This week the city’s contractor complete all of the concrete curb and gutter and sidewalks on the project. The concrete will need about a week to properly cure.
Next week, the contractor will patch the road at each of the intersections. Final pavement markings and signs to be installed with this project are tentatively scheduled for the week of June 18th. Also next week, but not part of this contract City DPW crews will be milling and overlaying Barney Street from McCall St to E Broadway.

As part of phase one of connecting the Glacier Drumlin Trail with the New Berlin Trail, the City of Waukesha along with Waukesha County will pave phase 1 of the connector trail through Waukesha. Phase one will include paving along an old retired railroad bed from Barstow Street to Frederick Street and storm sewer improvements. The project will begin mid-April, and will be complete by July 13th.
